Olympic sports and their disciplines Winter Olympic, Paralympic, team and individual games at the Olympics

There have been many Olympic sports throughout history. These sports are not always fixed, many go in and out of the program very easily. In order for any sport to be included in the Olympic Games, it must meet several requirements of the Olympic Charter. First, it must be a sport widely practiced in a minimum of 75 countries and four continents by men, and in a minimum of 40 countries and three continents by women. In addition, it must be accepted at least seven years before those games begin. Finally, you will have to correctly apply the world anti-doping code. For all this, many dream to be Olympic sports , but then they fail to overcome all the requirements that exist.

The games are the maximum representation of sport worldwide today. They are considered as a form of union and peace for humanity. All athletes fight to get a space in the different team and individual disciplines that are part of the Olympics. Olympic sports take place during the Winter and Summer Olympic Games , both of which are regulated by the International Olympic Committee. They are represented by means of five colored circles, symbolizing the five continents. In addition, at present, there are several Olympic disciplines  that have been introduced to sports of this type.

In this article, we will see what are all the Olympic sports that exist and their disciplines . After reviewing what all the Olympic sports are , especially the Winter , Summer and Paralympic Games , we turn our attention to the individual sports in the Olympics . He made his debut at the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games, thanks to the organizing committee of that edition, and it has been included in all the Games up to the present time.

Disciplines and Olympic team sports

Perhaps the Olympic team sports are the most famous outside of this global competition. As a general rule, each team must be made up of more than three athletes, as is the case with basketball, handball, baseball, soccer, futsal, field hockey, artistic swimming, rugby, volleyball, beach volleyball, and water polo.
